     On October 1, 2003, the Institute was established by the Academic Council of the University on the basis of Correspondence Education Faculty as a structural unit in order to introduce advanced information technologies into teaching and learning as well as to use experience accumulated by the Faculty of Correspondence Education since its establishment in 1985.

     During its lifetime the University (former Kyiv Automobile and Highway Institute - KADI) has graduated more than 4000part-time students who are professionals in the following areas: road transport, road construction and maintenance, bridges and tunnels, road transport economics and road construction economics, transportation, traffic engineering and control.

     The Institute is part of National Transport University. Part-time students can do bachelors, masters and specialists programs in 20 specialties and specializations. 45 professors, doctors of science and 155 candidates of science, associate professors teach at the Institute.

     The Institute graduates receive a NTU standard diploma of higher education.

     For education and qualification level of a bachelor training period is 5 years;

     For education and qualification level of a specialist on the basis of education and qualification level of a bachelor training period is 1 year;

     For education and qualification level of a master on the basis of education and qualification level of a bachelor training period is 1 year;

     For education and qualification of a Master on the basis of education and qualification level of a specialist training period are 10 months;

     Bachelors can be trained either according to the state order or at the expense of individuals and legal entities.
