Head of department, Professor Piskunov V.G.

      Head of department - Piskunov Vadym Georgijovych - is a doctor of engineering sciences, professor, laureate of the State premium of Ukraine domain of sciences and techniques, honoured worker of sciences and techniques of Ukraine, academician of Academy of building of Ukraine, academician of the Transport academy of Ukraine, Deserved worker of education of Ukraine, honoured road-worker. Reads lectures for students from disciplines: "Strength of materials", "Special course of strength of materials", "Theory of elasticity and plasticity", special course of "Structural mechanics". Scientific direction is related to development of theory and numerical methods of calculation of constructions. He prepared five doctors of sciences and twenty-one candidates of sciences.


      Teaching staff:
Sipetov Valerij Sokratovych – is a professor of department, doctor of engineering sciences, professor. He gives lectures for students from such disciplines as "Strength of materials" and "Theory of elasticity and plasticity". Scientific direction is related to research the stressed-deformed state of the multi-layer shells and plates, calculation of bridge constructions.
Marchuk Olexander Vasyljovych – is a professor of department, doctor of engineering sciences, professor. He gives lectures for students from such disciplines as "Strength of materials", "Planning of metallic constructions" and "Modern methods of strength analysis of constructions from new materials". Scientific direction is related to research stressed-deformed state of multi-layer orthotropic shells and plates.
Shevchenko Vitalij Dmytrovych – is a professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, professor NTU, deputy head of department. He gives lectures for students from such disciplines as "Strength of materials", "Planning of metallic constructions" and "Structural mechanics". The advanced study is related to research the stressed-deformed state of flat shells by numerical method, calculation of metallic constructions of machines.
Lytviak Stanislav Josypovych – is a professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, associate professor. He gives lectures for students from discipline "Structural mechanics". The advanced study in the area of calculation of building constructions is conducted by him.
Ruban Mykola Mykhajlovych – is a professor of department, candidate of engineering’s sciences, associate professor. He gives lectures for students from discipline "Strength of materials". Scientific direction is related to research the stressed-deformed state of plates of complex shape.
Marchenko Nina Grygorivna – is an associate professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, associate professor. She gives lectures for students from such disciplines as "Strength of materials" and "Structural mechanics". Direction of scientific research is related to the studing of stressed state of plates and shells by the finite elements method.
Demchuk Oleg Mykolajovych – is an associate professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, associate professor, and superior research worker. He gives lectures from such discipline as "Strength of materials" and "Modern methods of calculation of constructions from new materials". Direction of scientific researches is related to the calculation of temperature stresses in multi-layer constructions.
Grynevytskyj Borys Volodymyrovych – is an associate professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, associate professor. He gives lectures for students from such disciplines as "Strength of materials" and "Structural mechanics". The advanced study is related to the calculation of bridge constructions.
Fedorenko Liudmyla Ivanivna – is an associate professor of department, candidate of engineering sciences, superior research worker. She gives lectures for students from discipline "Strength of materials". Scientific direction is related to the calculation of road pavement.
Didychenko Iryna Mykhajlivna – is a candidate of engineering sciences, superior research worker, and associate professor. She works in research sector, studies vibrations of plates and shells and discharges obligations of scientific secretary of department.
Konstantinova Valentina Pavlovna – is a senior teacher of department. She gives lectures and conducts practical and laboratory trainings from discipline "Strength of materials". Scientific and methodical works from this discipline are conducted by her.
Kondriukova Iryna Olexijivna – has a master's degree, is an assistant of department. She conducts practical and laboratory trainings from such disciplines as "Strength of materials", "Structural mechanics". The advanced study is related to the calculation of bridge constructions.

     Employees of department:
Vojtsekhovska Natalija Stepanivna – is a manageress of laboratory. She is responsible for carrying out laboratory works from strength of materials.
Styshkovska Nadija Mikhalivna – is a superior research worker. She takes part in carrying out the state budget works of department.
Grynevytska Liudmyla Mykolajivna – is an engineer. She has an obligation to keep the documentations of department and to be accountable for storage of term papers from disciplines of department.

     4. Structural mechanics - for the students of building specialties.
     5. Planning of metallic constructions - for the students of mechanical specialties.
     6. Modern methods of strength analysis of constructions from new materials - for the students of mechanical specialties.

      Scientific direction of department is related to development of analytical and numerical methods of calculation of constructions, researches the stressed-deformed state of structurally heterogeneous constructions under the action of load and temperature factors. The applied specified theories are developed. It is researched the constructions such as plates and shells, one-layer and multi-layer, which made from composite materials. The calculations of constructions of transport buildings – bridges, road and airdrome pavement – are performed. There are created methods of calculation of metallic constructions for road building, lifting’s and transport machines. It is investigated stressed-deformed state of crane of large carrying capacity, trailers for transporting of overall dimensions build techniques. The deformations of series of shells of spaceships aerials are investigated.
