Head of the Department Anton Antonovich Kozlovsky

     Head of the Department – Anton Antonovich Kozlovsky, Doctor of Law, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, professor of NTU, is researching issues of constitutional law, legal theory and philosophy of law.

Borodin Ivan Lukyanovich - Professor, Doctor of Law. Courses are taught: "The problems of administrative process."

Merezhko Alexander Aleksandrovich - Professor, Doctor of Law. Courses are taught: "International law".

Stefanchuk Ruslan Alekseevich - Professor, Doctor of Law. Courses are taught: "Constitutional rights and freedoms."

Hrimli Irina Aleksandrovna - Associate Professor, Ph.D, preparation of the textbook, the problems of interaction between morality and law in the contemporary space. Courses are taught: "Criminal Law of Ukraine", "Actual problems of the prosecutor's preliminary investigation."

Shatilo Vladimir Anatolijvich - Associate Professor, Doctor of Law. Courses are taught: "State law of foreign countries."

     Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law was established January 8, 2003 order of the NTU number 1 on the basis of the "Law" (function of the year 07/03/2001).

     The Department is one of the principal divisions of NTU, which provides teaching of legal disciplines at the Faculty of Economics, Management and Law ", namely" Constitutional Law of Ukraine "," Administrative Law "," History of State and Law of Ukraine "," History of Law foreign countries ", "State law of foreign countries," Principles of Roman Law "," Private International Law "," Administrative Process "," Customs Law "," Agrarian Law "," Criminal Law "," Constitutional rights, freedoms and responsibilities of citizens "," Local Government in Ukraine "," Legal deontology "," logic "," Housing Law ", "Speaking", "Public International Law", "Philosophy of Law", "Legal framework for investment", "Bar of Ukraine", "Notary of Ukraine", "Environmental Law" and teaches "Fundamentals of Law" and "Principles of Constitutional Law Ukraine on all other faculties.

     The Department is issuing in "Law" (7.060.101, 8.060.101), qualification "Lawyer".

     The department conducts educational process of full-time and part-time study.

     In its activity the Department more focused draws attention to organizational and methodological work of the faculty. In recent years, updated, and implementation developed in the educational process of training complexes almost all disciplines.

     A total organizational-methodological work much attention is paid to the introduction of basic principles of the Bologna Process in separate groups as the experiment. In connection with this teaching is based on prepared work programs, which reflect the requirements of the students individual work, forms of control training to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

     The teaching staff is constantly working to improve its content of teaching material that students taught using the materials in the learning process of political and constitutional reforms, the main provisions of national unity, The latest legal and regulatory framework and its application in practice of public relations agencies, local governments.

     Special attention is paid practical training department. Production and diploma students have practice in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, the Department of Communal Property of the Kiev City Administration, the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine, the District Prosecutor's Office m. Kyiv, Institute of Intellectual Property, enterprises, institutions and organizations of different ownership.

     Subjects diploma covers current issues of administrative, constitutional, customs, environmental, international, Agricultural Law.

     The Department carries out research work to improve the content of scholarship vykladayemoho material, application of research results in the subject of lectures, seminars and workshops on subjects of the department, Develop and submit proposals to state authorities for renewal and the adoption of new regulations and improve the practice of their application in the field of executive power.

     The main forms of research the department is:
     - Training postgraduate students in graduate school to study the actual administrative and legal issues and preparation on this basis Ph.D. theses;
     - Preparation of monographs, textbooks, Materials, lectures and other educational and research materials;
     - Performances of the faculty at international, nationwide, regional scientific conferences;
     - Publishing articles in law journals and other collections of scientific papers on topics and research department profile.

     The main areas of research department at the 2009-2012 biennium is:
     • The development of constitutional and administrative law in Ukraine during the democratization of social relations;
     • The issue of implementation and protection of human and civil rights in the field of executive power;
     • Administrative proceedings before the court and its components;
     • reform of the administrativebility of liability;
     • Prepare Code of Ukraine about administrative responsibility (in collaboration with the Centre for Political and Legal Reform).

     The participation of faculty, during 2002-2006, trained 8 candidates of Law.

     Graduate students and applicants of the department are working on dissertations in the following topics:
     Yarov R.V. - Administrative responsibility of special subjects - drivers of vehicles.
     Dmitrieva N.V. - Administrative measures non-tariff applied to goods at the customs border of Ukraine.
     Bondar A.V. - State control over the organization and implementation of economic activity.

     Graduate students and applicants of the department publish articles in leading scientific professional journals such as "Law Ukraine", "Law of Ukraine", "Enterprise, Economy and Law", participate in international academic, national conferences.

     University students each year on account of the department actively participate in national competitions, conferences, seminars and student research on legal issues.
