Department of Theory
and History of State and Law

The head of the department – Khoroshun Borys Ivanovych, doctor of science in history, professor, author of more than 90 scientific and methodical publications, including 6 manuals, member of the editorial board of the scientific collection "The Social History" (the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv), awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree; the Excellence in Education of Ukraine Badge and Petro Mohyla Badge by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Research interests: the political, social and economical history of Ukraine in the 1920s and 1930s. Lecture courses: "History of Ukraine", "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture ".

     The department was founded at the beginning of September of 2003.

     Research work of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law

     The general subject of the research work of the department is „History of Formation and Development of the Ukrainian state: social, economic, political, cultural and spiritual questions”.

     Besides, the professors of the department (Professor Khoroshun B.I., Dr. Yazvinska O.M. ) participate in a state-financed project: „ Foundation of vocational training in the European Education Area”.
