History of the Department
Department of "Finance, accounting and audit" was created in 2006 by order of the Rector of NTU number 74 from 09.03.06 "On changes in the structure of the university," the Department "Management and Business" and is part of the faculty "Economics, Management and Law."
The department employs highly qualified specialists who, besides teaching cycle leading disciplines faculty are actively engaged in educational work among students, young scientists are trained and are making a significant personal contribution to development economics.
The need for this department is related primarily to the increase in financial market conditions as activity in the manufacturing process and the need to ensure, in accordance with modern requirements, the required level of professional training. Given the fact that nowadays prospects of companies and motor transport industry as a whole increasingly depend on the adequacy of funding, the organizers of knowledge required in the use of economic, financial, organizational and social mechanisms of transport enterprises using self-financing, development methods,models and strategies for optimization of financial flows to individual industries.
For preparation of the graduates in this field will receive basic knowledge in financial technologies, economic and financial analysis, budget and tax policy, the foundations of exchange activities and information support.
Before the lecturer responsible task is to make learning interesting and accessible to the understanding and practical application of acquired knowledge. The priority tasks are consistent integration into the European education system based on the Bologna Declaration, which defined approaches to creating a single European educational space. In this regard concerns the problem of improving the teaching of discipline, widely used in Role and business games, individual practical (keysovyh) tasks, tests and other forms of interactive training that will consolidate the theoretical knowledge and develop skills in practical workthe transport industry.
The creative potential of the faculty of the department "Finance, Accounting and Auditing" sufficient to solve the tasks. Now the department has 28 teachers, including: six professors, of which six doctors of economic sciences, seven associate professors, two senior teachers, thirteen assistants, including the optimal combination of highly experienced professionals and young people can learn innovative educational technologies, taking into account the experience gained of work.
The program of training in "Finance" is now studying fifty-four students. Most talented of them are able to continue scientific work in graduate school, which is the main source of replenishment of teachers for university departments.
After graduation, graduates are qualified economist and have a priority right to work on transportation enterprises and organizations in the transport industry. They will also be employed in other institutions for such activities: accounting auditing and financial work, lending and insurance.
Tasks of the Departments:
The main objectives of the department "Finance, accounting and audit" can be divided into the following areas:
1. integration into the European system of education based on the Bologna Declaration, which defined approaches to creating a single European educational space;
2. provision of basic system knowledge of financial technologies, economic and financial analysis, budget and tax policy, the foundations of exchange activities and information support;
3. application in the Role and business games, individual practical tasks, tests and other forms of interactive training that will consolidate the theoretical knowledge and develop skills in practical work of students;
4. training of qualified specialists in finance, accounting and auditing, management, etc., which will have the priority right to work on transportation enterprises and organizations in the transport industry;
5. active involvement and talented students to science department - it allows instilled and to develop skills for future researchers to create a scientific and methodological approaches to solve complex economic problems.
