Scientific developments

      A group of researchers under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Dmytrychenko M.F. have carried out research in order to increase machines and mechanisms reliability using optimal lubrication methods; a device for diffusive borating of metal products in non-oxidizing borate heat carriers and external magnetic field has been developed.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Gutarevych Y.F. have developed power supply and adjusting systems for diesels and petrol engines, as well as a power supply system for spark ignition alternative fuel engines.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor  Dolganov K.E. improved the automatic control systems of diesel rotation frequency with the help of parallel correcting connections; and created power supply and adjusting systems to convert motor and transport diesels into gas diesels.

      A group of researchers under the supervision of the Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Sakhno V.P. have carried out works on the improvement of special purpose road trains operating characteristics, as well as the design and development of long road trains and semi-trailer drive systems.

      A group of researchers of the university under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, the Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Dmytriev M.M. have developed a number of infra-red devices and methods for the estimation of the state of machines, mechanisms and buildings.

      A group of researchers of the university under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor  Levkovts P.R. created scientific bases for design and optimization of organizational, economic and financial mechanisms of interaction with an external environment, as well as strategies and forecasting algorithms for final results of transport enterprises activity; and developed recommendations for rational organization of road transportation with the use of satellite technologies in order to enhance quality and efficiency of city, intercity and international transportation.

      A group of researchers under the supervision of the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Savenko V.Y. have developed new methods of the use of geo-synthetic materials in road construction, as well as models and a calculation method for asphalt concrete non-rigid road pavement layers, reinforced by synthetic materials in order to increase their longevity.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Bilyatynsky O.A., having studied regularities of road transport flows, improved methods of road design taking into account the requirements of environmental protection, as well as developed theoretical bases of road design, taking into account emergency situations.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor  Bol'shakov V.O. developed methods of stereophotogrammetry in the hydrological reconnaissance survey and hydraulic calculation of bridge crossings.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Mozgovyi V.V. have created and implemented new effective road-buildings materials (DBM) in the road construction of Ukraine; have developed and improved methods of determination of thermo mechanical and thermo geological properties of DBM; have developed a number of normative technical documents for road construction.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Piskunov V.G. and Ukraine State Prize Laureate in the field of science and technology, the Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Rasskazov O.O. have developed methods for calculation of composite shells, slabs and bodies; as well as the new versions of the applied theories of multi-layer orthotropic flat shells and slabs.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Pavlyuk D.O. have improved universal road measuring equipment UDVO-NTU.

     A group of researchers under the supervision of Doctor of Sciences in Technology, Professor Tkachuk S.G. have developed a method for determination of the normative and calculation level of washout under bridges to diagnose a bridge maintenance period

      A group of researchers under the supervision of Candidate of Sciences in Technology, Professor Yatskivskyi l.Y. have developed theoretical bases and practical methods of inter-modal freight transportation systems for the balanced and effective transport infrastructure of Ukraine.

      A group of researchers under the supervision of Candidate of Sciences in Technology, Professor Musiyko V.D. have developed soil-digging machinery for quick major repair of trunk pipelines without lifting the main pipeline and without stopping oil flow; and have carried out research on the method of removing old insulating coating from trunk pipelines. The novelty of the developments is confirmed by 15 copyright certificates and 22 patents of Ukraine, Russia, Hungary and the USA.
