Advices for Applicants

      If you are applying for one of the university courses, do the following:

     Be careful to learn information about it, the faculty and the department which graduates students in the chosen area of specialism. If you are sure it’s exactly what you have dreamed about, it is time for you to act.

     Read very carefully Entrance Rules set out in 2009.

     Collect documents required for entrance (including documents, confirming your right on privileges if you apply for them).If you decide to submit copies of General Certificate of Secondary Education and its transcript, a medical certificate (form 086/o), certificates of Ukrainian Center of Education Quality Assessment, you should remember to produce their originals in person.

     Beforehand write your permanent address on the envelopes in the box “Receiver’s address, index” to receive necessary notices from Admissions Commission.

     Read attentively the announcements of Admissions Commission while submitting the documents. Write down necessary information.

     Remember, applicants will be informed about the results of the competition and lists of the recommended for study only with the help of visual announcement. There won’t be any mail announcements! So you should find out when the lists will be hung out. You can see them in the University hall (1 Suvorova St..)

     If you belong to the categories of applicants who take their entrance exams at the university – make sure to arrive at specified time with the documents identifying your personality (for example, a passport or a military card or a document from the military registration office) and to return the receipt of documents given to you by a secretary of Admissions Commission; make sure to arrive at specified time indicated in your examination docket which is your admission to sit the examination (with the document identifying your personality);

     Read attentively (and write down) the timetable of entrance examinations. Remember, if the university applicant does not arrive at specified time without good reason he will not be allowed to sit the examination;

     Make sure to arrive at the university beforehand (20-30 minutes before the examination starts) and to bring a document identifying your personality, examination docket and 2 pens;

     Concentrate on your examination and don’t hurry;

     Wait for official announcement of the results quietly.

     If you have submitted copies of documents and if you are recommended for admission to the university you have to give their originals.

     You have to submit the originals of documents in five-day term after the announcement of persons recommended for study if you decide to study at the university free of charge.

     If in due time you don’t submit the originals of documents to Admissions Commission you will loose your right to study free of charge.
