The First Pro-rector of NTU, professor професор Bilyakovych M.O.

The First Pro-rector of National Transport University, Honored Employee of the National Education of Ukraine, Candidate of Science in Technology, Professor, Academician of the Transport Academy of Ukraine, awarded the Badge of Honor, the Order of Merit of the III degree , Certificate of Merit of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, the holder of the Excellence in Education of Ukraine Badge, the recipient of Petro Mohyla Badge, Honored Employee of Motor Transport of Ukraine

     He was born in the village of Mala Divytsya, Pryluky district, Chernihiv region on April 13, 1936. In 1959 Bilyakovych M.O. graduated with honors from the automobile faculty of Kiev Automobile and Highway Institute. In accordance with his graduation assignment he worked as a chief mechanic in a motor depot of timber industry enterprise "Prykamlis" in Dobrianka, Perm region.

     Since 1964, after finishing a post-graduate course and candidate of science dissertation defense (Brno, the Czech Republic) Bilyakovych M.O. has been working in Kiev Automobile and Highway Institute (current National Transport University). He went all the way through from an assistant, an associate professor, a professor, dean of faculty, head of department to a pro-rector of university. Nowadays he is the First Pro-Rector of NTU, Head of the Department of Road Construction Machinery.

     His key research interests include the reliability and technical maintenance of road machinery and automobiles. He is the author of more than 100 books, manuals and research and methodology papers.

     Vice-Chairman of the scientific and technical committee on transport and transport infrastructure of MES of Ukraine and a member of the Expert Council of mechanics and transport of MES of Ukraine. Honorary Professor of MADI (Russia).
