     Oleksandr Ivanovich Bulah was born in Kyiv on September 21, 1952.
     In 1969 after finishing school he entered Kyiv Automobile and Highway Institute and received a qualification of a motor road engineer.
     Since 1973 he has been working at NTU.
     1977-1980 did a post graduate course.
     1977- Assistant Manager of the laboratory of Highway Construction and Maintenance Department of Kyiv Automobile and Highway Institute.
     1988- Director of Work Placement, senior lecturer of Highway Construction and Maintenance Department.
     1999 - defended his candidate of science degree dissertation.
     2000- was elected Corresponding Member of the Transport Academy of Science of Ukraine.
     Since 1995- Pro-Rector
     Since 2000- Pro-Rector for Social Development and Foreign Relations.
     Since 2003- Pro-Rector for Social and Economic Development.
     His key research interests: motor road maintenance, traffic safety.
