Nadvirnjanskiy College emerged from the restructuring of Ivano-Frankivsk Automobile Transport Technical School and Ivano-Frankivsk Forestry Engineering School in October 1999

As of today, the entry to the College requires either a basic or completed secondary education.
The College carries out academic and practical training required for its students to obtain a completed secondary education and the Junior Specialist qualification.

The College trains Junior Specialists (on a full and part-time basis) majoring in the following areas of study:
5.100404 “Transport and motor transport management”.
5.090240 “Service and repair of motor-cars and engines”;
5.050104“Finance”;
5.050111 “Business accounting”
5.020107 “, Document Handling”;
5.06.0101 “Law”
Approximately 1500 students are currently studying in the College.
Well qualified lecturers and teachers work in the College.
The College provides excellent facilities to support teaching and learning. There are four academic buildings, 2 hostels, a shopping center, fully equipped garages where students receive hands-on experience, a library and a reading hall, an assembly hall (seating 250 persons), Palace of culture and recreation for students (seating 550 persons), a sports gym, sports playgrounds and courts; a motor-racing circuit, a self-contained boiler plant and water-supply stations, a first-aid post.
In the College there are the departments of automobile, economics, law, general education training, re-training and qualification upgrading courses, a college branch in Ivano-Frankivsk. There are well-equipped classrooms, laboratories and workshops.
Special Integrated Vocational Center was set up to enhance practical training in three areas of specialization. Apart from academic and practical training, a lot of attention is paid to sports, amateur creative groups, recreation and leisure time of students and staff.
Students may join numerous sport sections, amateur art, theatre and hobby groups including: a choir; vocal, folk and contemporary dance groups; a violin orchestra; a brass band; a folk instrument orchestra. In 2004 the famous amateur dancing group «Vodograi» (“a waterfall” in English) was awarded the title of a national group.
